Ground beef is made from any part of the carcass which gives adequate product. Neither can use head meat or meat offal in ground meat. By the process of ground meat it shall remove all bones, cartilage, big blood vessels, thick membranes, glands and dark discolored meat. In pure ground meat is minced meat and nothing else. Ground meat from veals, within 30 months, is called minced veal but ground meat from older cattles ground beef. Ground beef is available in different quality categories by amount of fat and connective tissue. In ground meat with added water and fibers must be stated under the name on each added material, soya, fibers or something else.
